Olympic Torch Relay along the Yellowhead

By Terri Mason

© VANOC/COVAN

The Olympic Torch Relay will wind its way through these cities, towns and villages along the legendary Yellowhead Highway. Some of the communities along the way have been chosen to celebrate the historic moment with a celebration! (The Celebration communities are indicated with an asterisk (*).)

When the Torch arrives in these communities, the torch sponsors are hosting a party, inviting the entire community and surrounding areas to come and cheer for the local torchbearers.

The celebrations will include an exciting stage show with amazing acrobats, music and more, including displays of rare historic torches. Enjoy free samples, and share the happiness of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay with the whole community. You won’t want to miss this!
